City Trekker Summer Camp at the new Coral Gables Museum offers 5 weeks of fun educational activities for children ages 5-12, from June 21 through August 13. City Trekker Summer Camp explores the City of Coral Gables though a variety of disciplines and takes advantage of all the cultural destinations and activities that The City Beautiful has to offer.
Through special presentations, art activities and field trips that will support weekly themes, campers will come to better understand their natural and built environments. Campers will learn about architecture, landscape design, art, urban planning, as well as historic and environmental preservation.
The Coral Gables Museum provides a safe place to create, play and learn. Family and friends are invited to join us every Friday at 4pm for Friday Finales, special presentations featuring creative projects and accomplishments from the campers’ week-long adventures.
Campers will be grouped according to age. Snacks, hats, water bottles, field trip fees, and Friday pizza lunch are included in the registration fee.
Camp will take place Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available. Discounts for siblings and multi-week registration are available.
