Volunteers at the Coral Gables Museum can participate in a wide array of activities, including promotional events, special events, summer camp and educational tours. We recognize the important contributions of volunteers to the overall success of our museum, and we encourage you to apply! We look forward to working with you. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.
The Program Intern will report to the Director of Programs. Program Internship duties will include, but are not limited to: gathering contact information for community outreach and marketing initiatives; proofreading program documents for publication; inputting summer camp registration information; assisting at promotional events; distributing summer camp materials and brochures to local offices; attending staff meetings; providing general office support. Program interns should be available 10 hours per week, during the Museum’s regular operating hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) and during specific weekend promotional events. This internship is unpaid. Academic credit is offered.
Applicants should be upper level undergraduate students or graduate students. Applicants must demonstrate an interest in Education, Museum Management, Marketing or a related field of study.
