CGM Program: Downtown Walking Tour with urban archeology spin for Girl Scouts. Can you guess what this building was originally? There are many buildings in Coral Gables from the 1920s that are on this tour and would be perfect for this theme. For example, did you know that the Coral Gables Museum used to be the Old Police and Fire Station? And the Bank of America building used to be an outdoor movie theater called Dream Theater? This fun tour encourages observation skills, while teaching local history and architecture.
