December 1, 5pm-10pm
Join us for an educational exhibit about the City’s new public art installations by master Carlos Cruz-Diez as well as a 5pm art history lecture by Dr. Carol Damian on the artist. Carlos Cruz-Diez is world renowned for his ephemeral interventions in urban spaces using color spectrums to create illusionary effects and new chromatic environments.
Then explore the Museum to enjoy artwork by Alice Goldhagen, Richard Blanco, Jacob Hessler and Juan Antonio Guirado; and view the groundbreaking exhibit “Sheltering Survivors”, which explores humanitarian design today.
Free museum admission, live music by UM Frost School of Music, and cash bar tonight and every first Friday of the month in conjunction with Coral Gables Gallery Night.
