Objects + Questions: Facilitating Conversations Around Collections

Every object has a story, and every person has a connection to objects. Come join the Coral Gables Museum Education Department as we learn how to bridge those connections and use objects and personal experiences as teaching tools with tour groups and in gallery spaces. Work together with School Programs Manager, Cecilia Slesnick as you explore these two engaging teaching strategies and discover new ways of sharing our city’s unique history. The training will take place on Tuesday January 9, 2018 from 11:30-1:00pm in the museum’s Perrin Internaitonal Hall.

Workshop and Lunch will be free for existing volunteers and $10 for new volunteers.
