Spend a morning at the Museum, and earn 4 master plan points. Teachers will tour the exhibits “The Natural World Along Tamiami Trail: Photographs by Clyde Butcher” and “Trailblazers: The Perilous Story of the Tamiami Trail.” This workshop will be interactive and participants will engage with museum exhibitions that are aligned with STEAM initiatives. Professional Development will focus on strategies and activities that are standards-based and integrated across content areas for K-12 teachers around Visual Arts, Visual Literacy, and the Everglades. Participants will receive resources and an autographed copy of Clyde Butcher’s book!
