The Villagers, Quilts, and 50 Years of Preservation

Brightly patterned fabrics stitched together tell a story about the dedication of The Villagers, Miami-Dade County’s oldest historic preservation advocacy organization.  On display is a sampling of quilts, created by members that are raffled each year to assist in raising funds for the group’s preservation, education, and awareness efforts.  Get to know The Villagers and celebrate their 50 years of success in funding more than 60 preservation projects and providing tours, workshops, lectures, field trips, and over $400,000 in scholarships to local students. Curated by Donna Shelley.
