Join/renew before September 18th and receive a free copy of The Florida Hurricane and Disaster, written by L.F. Reardon in 1926, and reprinted in 1986.

As we approach the 90th anniversary of the Great Miami Hurricane of 1926, which reportedly killed 372 people, injured 6,000 others, and devastated South Florida, we take a look back through this first-hand account of the event that changed the course of history, including Coral Gables development; an event that came without warning, and ravaged the land on September 17th and 18th of 1926.
