ENTRELIBROS Children’s Book Festival

The Entrelibros Children’s Book Festival is coming back to the museum! This exciting, free weekend event will feature top publishers from Spain and Latin America, showcasing their latest children’s books. We’re bringing together renowned authors and illustrators who will host hands-on workshops, captivating storytimes, and personal book signings. Whether you’re an avid reader or just getting started, this is a unique opportunity to explore the world of children’s literature and meet the creative minds behind some of your favorite stories. Wednesday, October 16
5:30 pm: Opening of the “ARTE ENTRE PÁGINAS” Exhibition
Be part of the grand opening of ENTRELIBROS 2024 and the “ARTE ENTRE PÁGINAS” exhibition, curated by Alejandra Varela from Ediciones Ekaré. The evening will feature a special opening cocktail until 8 pm, with the presence of the city’s Mayor.

Friday, October 18
10 am – 5 pm: The festival opens to the public with a full program of creative workshops and captivating storytelling sessions under the trees.
4:30 pm: “DANCING STORIES” Performance
Armour Dance Theater presents “Dancing Stories,” inspired by picture books from Ediciones Ekaré and Diego Pun.

Saturday, October 19
10 am – 5 pm: More workshops and storytelling sessions in the open air.
3 pm: Musical Performance by Miami Music Project
Enjoy a delightful musical presentation by the Miami Music Project.

Sunday, October 20
11 am – 5 pm: Last full day of workshops and storytelling for all ages under the trees.
3 pm: Theater Performance: “El país de la cocinita”
A family-friendly performance full of imagination and fun.
5 pm: Festival Closing Ceremony
Join us for the festival’s closing with editors and special guests.
