This workshop will provide instruction aligned to the MDCPS curriculum to Social Studies middle school teachers. Private school teachers welcomed. Participants will engage in a hands-on water and climate change activity facilitated by Yvette Cano, education specialist at Everglades National Park. Participants will join a guided tour by Jacqueline Crucet, “This Land Is Your Land” exhibit curator and National Park Conservation Association representative. Participants will engage in a facilitated discussion session to explore all four of South Florida’s National Parks.

First fifteen teachers can register free of charge thanks to the generosity of NPCA.

MDCPS teachers can visit MyLearningPlan for Master Points credit.
