Lunch and Learn: Arva Moore Parks, author and historian, presents “The Genius of Denman Fink”

The Lunch & Learn series presents expert speakers and buffet lunch in the Museum’s Community Meeting Room in the company of fellow culture enthusiasts. This series is open to Museum members and their guests. The Museum thanks Gibraltar Private for sponsoring our 2017-2018 Lunch & Learn Series! Save the dates for more Lunch and Learn events: Nov. 17, Feb. 23, and Apr. 27.

George Merrick’s uncle, artist Denman Fink, was his closest and most important collaborator.  Along with Merrick, his influence is still visible today. Guests will enjoy lunch, a presentation, and a viewing of the Museum’s temporary exhibit “The Life and Art of Denman Fink (1880-1956)”. This particular event is presented in partnership with Historic Preservation Association of Coral Gables. HPACG members are also welcome to purchase tickets.

Ticket price: $25. Advance registration is required. New members are welcome.
