Live performance Alice Kim, 19 year old aspiring singer-songwriter/producer based in Corning, NY. Growing up, Alice listened to many different genres of music such as classic rock, jazz, pop, indie-folk, electronic, etc. She had always sang for fun, but it wasn’t until age 12 that she began taking lessons for it. Her first instrument was the piano which she learned at a very young age. With that, she began to learn many different instruments throughout her life. She then started learning guitar at age 14 which sparked her love for songwriting. Alice then started writing songs at the age of 13, but didn’t showcase them until the age of 15. Being a closet musician for most of her life, Alice began putting up YouTube videos of cover songs to share her music. After receiving a great amount of feedback, she then started to perform at local cafes/venues and audition for talent showcases. Alice is currently a high school student finding performance opportunities and perfecting her craft as a musician. Her musical influences include Lianne La Havas, Tori Kelly, John Mayer, Kimbra, Ed Sheeran, Clara C, John Legend, Jeremy Passion, and Sara Bareilles.
