Join us as we celebrate the literary contributions of Shakespeare and Cervantes on the day before the 400th anniversary of the authors’ deaths–yes, the two died on the exact same day! In collaboration with the Consuls General of Great Britain and Spain, FIU will present a program of music, spoken word and lecture on themes common to the two writers and examine how their work continues to resonate in 21st-century South Florida. This event will be open to Museum Members.
