Find Your Park!: June 13-June 24
The National Park Service is turning 100! Be a part of the centennial celebration! Meet a Biscayne National Park Ranger, and learn why it is important to protect parks. Enjoy trips to local parks for nature hunts, eco-tours, and outdoor fun, including a cool dip in the pool at Matheson Hammock Park. Honor our parks through art activities and a scavenger hunt in our new exhibit “This Land is Your Land.”
City Trekker Summer Camp at the Coral Gables Museum offers 10 weeks of fun, educational activities for children ages 5-12. City Trekker Summer Camp explores the City of Coral Gables through a variety of disciplines and takes advantage of all the cultural destinations and activities that The City Beautiful and the Museum have to offer.
Through exhibits, special presentations, art activities and field trips campers will learn about art, architecture, design, history and more! Campers will also enjoy some splashin’ fun with trips to Venetian Pool every session! The Coral Gables Museum provides a safe place to create, play and learn. Family and friends are invited to join us every Friday at 4pm for Friday Finales, special presentations featuring creative projects and accomplishments from the campers’ week-long adventures.
Campers will be grouped according to age. Caps, field trip fees and Friday pizza lunch are included in the registration fee. Camp will take place Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available for an additional fee. Early Bird, Member and Sibling discounts available.
