The Coral Gables Museum offers a wide variety of exhibit tours and activities, city tours, and on-site programs for public, private, and charter schools. Our Green City Program teaches K-12 students about environmentally sustainable design as it pertains to architecture and urban planning in South Florida and beyond.
We also offer an ART program that focuses on the current art exhibits at the museum. Our ART program encourages students to learn about art, the stories artists tell, and the connection to their emotions and knowledge through Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). All tours are led by museum educators who are art specialists. Tours are adapted to be age and grade level appropriate. Please check the events calendar to see what is on view at the time of your visit.
CGM school tours abide by Florida State and National Standards and promote our vision to inspire the next generation of well-rounded citizens, leaders, and civic arts professionals.
Tour Fee: $5 per student, maximum 25 Students per Tour.
*M-DCPS can apply for the Green City Program at no charge for the school (including transportation and Museum entrance fee).
