Gallery 109September 5 – October 5, 2025
The exhibition presents the work of two groundbreaking Latin American artists whose practices have shaped the region’s contemporary art landscape.
Olga Dueñas, a pioneer of Ecuador’s kinetic and abstract art, has spent over seven decades exploring light, movement, and geometric form, fusing modernist experimentation with technological vision.
Magaly Barnola-Otaola, a Venezuelan artist with an extensive international career, creates drawings, mixed-media works, and illuminated installations that interlace architecture, engineering, and the human figure into poetic visual narratives.
Visitors are invited to explore the lasting legacy of both artists, with a unique opportunity to see their artistic visions in dialogue and understand their enduring contributions to Latin American art.
