City Trekker Camps at CGM explore the City of Coral Gables through a variety of disciplines and take advantage of all the cultural destinations and activities that The City Beautiful and the Museum have to offer.

Coral Gables Museum School Visits
The Coral Gables Museum offers a wide variety of exhibit tours and activities, city tours, our award-winning Green City Program and on-site programs for K-12 audiences. Our tours and educational program and activities are engaging and relevant, and introduce K-12 students to career paths in the civic arts, such as architect, landscape architect, developer, urban planner, engineer, ecologist, activist, politician, public administrator and more. They also meet Florida State Standards. Teacher-learning resources are available when you schedule a school tour.
Our educational vision is to build responsible and creative citizens that will contribute positively to communities worldwide. All tour programs and activities are listed below.
Exhibition tours are $5 per student. City tours are $10 per student. 1 chaperone for every 10 students is required. Chaperones are free.

PROFESSIONAL WORKSHOPS
Coral Gables Museum presents a series of professional development workshops throughout the year. Teachers may register through the district for master plan points. Workshops feature subject area experts and leaders and are centered around current and upcoming exhibitions. The 2016-2017 school year will feature workshops related to the following exhibits:
- “This Land Is Your Land: A Second Century for America’s National Parks”
- “Cuban Architecture At Home and In Exile”
- “Cuban Art in the 20th Century”
- “Plan Z”
Participants will explore museum exhibitions that are aligned with STEAM initiatives, engage with subject area experts and leaders, and focus on strategies and activities that are standards-based and integrated across content areas. Teachers of science, history, social studies, art, architecture, engineering, environmental sustainability and general education are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

FAMILY DAY ON ARAGON
Second Saturday Family Day on Aragon
Enjoy free admission and kids activities including exhibit tours, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts and performances at the Coral Gables Museum from 2pm – 5pm, plus more activities on Aragon Avenue hosted by our neighbors Coral Gables Art Cinema and Books & Books and participating partners.
All Family Day on Aragon activities at the Coral Gables Museum are FREE for the entire family.
