All Stars: CINTAS Foundation Fellows in Architecture & Design from 1963 to 2022

Gallery 109 and Abraham Family Gallery
April 27 – July 30, 2023

Title: Context No. 27 by Manuel Quijano (Fellow 1983-84) | Site Plan for Tompkins Square Park, New York City, and Section of Piazza del Popolo, Northern Rome (Map by Nolli).

This will be the first exhibition to showcase architects, designers, and planners of Cuban descent selected by the CINTAS Foundation since the first fellowship in 1963.  It is a retrospective of recipients of the CINTAS Architecture and Design fellowships, their accomplishments during the fellowship, and their recent work.  In addition, it will also recognize the careers of architect recipients of the lifetime achievement award.  The exhibition features models, drawings, reports, photographs, videos, and other ephemera, largely drawn from the personal collections of the fellows.
The show is curated by Christina Chiang, Curator of Architecture and Urbanism at the Coral Gables Museum. Design by David Diez.
