José López is a Professor and Coordinator of the Piano Program at the Wertheim School of Music at Florida International University in Miami. He is also President of the South Florida Chapter of the American Liszt Society and Honorary Secretary of the United Kingdom’s Alkan Society. With a career spanning the United States, Italy, and Latin America, López has performed on prestigious stages such as the Music Festival of the Hamptons, the Killington Music Festival, and numerous university series across the US. In South Florida, he is a prominent figure at events including the Florida International University Music Festival and the former Mainly Mozart Series in Coral Gables.
