Please join us for an evening of music from the turn of the century as the 1900’s come to life amid the sympathetic architecture of the Coral Gables and her museum. In a partnership with the Kendall Campus of MDC, we are presenting a festive night of music from when the Gables was young. The entrancing Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen, and the sparkling quartets of Wilhelm Ramsoe will be featured, along with the solo works of Clay Smith, including his variations on the Florida State Song. The evening of music from the turn of the last century will be topped of with a modern day setting of the music from Fiddler on the Roof, which was inspired by the same time frame.
Free and open to the public.
