With a different theme every week, the Coral Gables Museum is thrilled to host another exciting edition of Summer Camp!

From exploring art and architecture to learning about environmentalism and sustainability, our camp is designed to be both educational and fun. We provide a safe and nurturing environment, encouraging your child to develop their creativity, critical thinking, and social skills. Our campers will have the opportunity to make new friends and participate in engaging hands-on projects and activities.

Sessions

Week 1 – Eco Art

Monday, July 10 – Friday, July 14, 2023

From painting and drawing to sculpting and crafting, campers will learn how to use natural materials to create one-of-a-kind works of art.

Week 2 – Design + Architecture

Monday, July 17 – Friday, July 21, 2023

Campers will have the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of design, including principles of form, color, and texture, as well as the basics of architectural design.

Week 3 – Abstractions

Monday, July 24 – Friday, July 28, 2023

Through a series of fun and engaging activities, we’ll encourage campers to embrace their inner artists and let their imagination run wild.

Week 4 – Learn from the Best

Monday, July 31 – Friday, August 4, 2023

Campers will explore different techniques and styles by studying the work of some of the world’s most talented artists then and now.

Week 5 – Old Art

Monday, August 7 – Friday, August 11, 2023

Centering on various traditional techniques like sculpting, mosaics, cave art, and more, campers will delve into the rich history of art of its practice.

Camp Hours: DAILY 9 AM – 3 PM

Accepting Campers Ages: 5 – 12

Campers will start and end each day together, splitting into age-appropriate groups for activities throughout the day.

Camp Rates:

Full Week: $375 per child

Sibling Discount: First child pays regular rate; siblings receive 10% discount with code SIB0723.

Museum Family Members & City Employees receive 12% discount at checkout. 

Drop-off time: 9 – 9:30 AM
Pick-up time: 3 – 3:30 PM

*Extended Day (3 – 5 PM): Contingent on registration volume, extended day will be available for an additional fee.
