Academic Engagement

Coral Gables Museum is proud to share museum resources with educators through the use of the exhibitions on view as a space for engagement and enrichment.

Our resources include curatorial class visits, artist talks, pre-recorded interviews, installation visits with tours, among others. College faculty and their students are invited to use the Coral Gables Museum’s exhibitions and installations to complement course topics and learning objectives.

Coral Gables Museum’s Education Department in collaboration with the Exhibitions Department are available to faculty to provide creative, active, object-based, and specialized learning experiences for students from all disciplines.

Internship Opportunities

The Internship Program allows a dynamic group of students with varied interests, strengths, and goals to immerse themselves in an outstanding educational and professional environment. Interns learn and work directly with museum professionals in a team-based, collaborative environment that offers experiential learning, mentoring benefits, and leadership building skills.
