“Visions from Inside the Walls. Coral Gables Artists Today”, is a group exhibition that highlights the vibrancy and diversity of Coral Gables art scene. It showcases a multigenerational group of artists dealing with an array of themes and aesthetic interests while delving into the complexities of the human experience. Through three distinct yet interconnected sections – Identity and Cultural Roots; Memory and Perception; and The Built Environment. Artists explore the multifaceted nature of identity, the elusive qualities of memory, and the profound impact of the spaces that we inhabit as they invite viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and reflection on these and other topics.
The exhibition encompasses a wide range of mediums and techniques. From intricate textile works and thought-provoking installations to evocative paintings; from abstract sculptures to captivating photographs, each artwork offers a unique perspective of today’s Coral Gables.
